Two species, the salt marsh sparrow and humans, have a common enemy: the rising tides. This design creates awn way for both of us to welcome it into our homes with a smile. In using the tide as a constructive service, we look to a future of adaptable coastal infrastructure. Tides can be used as a tool to lean into our future with water, and this adaptable aquascape lets humans change their infrastructure when needed. Moving from one step to another can be tricky, as the tides control how walkways align, but this also teaches us to be aware of them. Other "tools" include tidal fountains which allow water in during high tides, and release them slowly during low tide.
